Turn on uBlock Origin

For ad-blocker extensions to work on SigmaOS, you need to use our custom browser engine, WebKit+.

Activate uBlock Origin (enable WebKit+)

What does WebKit+ add?

WebKit+ is built on top of the latest version of WebKit (Safari’s Browser Engine) and adds improvements:

  • faster webpage loading
  • improved performance
  • wider extension support

You can enable it yourself in Preferences > Advanced > Enable WebKit+.
