Pages π
A Page on SigmaOS is either a search or a web app. Each Workspace contains multiple Pages (as many as you like, in fact).
You might be used to calling them βtabsβ!
In SigmaOS, Pages run along the left side bar, so you can actually see what theyβre called and move between them with ease.
Pages are also much more powerful than tabs, and hereβs why π
Renaming Pages βοΈ
Double click on a Page to name it something more personal to you. For example, Music! is a lot cleaner than Spotify - Web Player: Music for Everyone
Locking Pages π
Some Pages are more important than others! For the Pages you use everyday, and the ones you donβt want to lose, hover over the Page and click Lock.
This stops Pages being closed by mistake.
Subpages π₯
We often open need to open multiple tabs from the same website, such as a collection of blogs from one website.
These can be opened as Subpages by holding command
when you click on each link. Subpages work just the same, except theyβll be organised under their parent Page.
Moving Pages πΉοΈ
To move your Pages up and down, or across, Workspaces, just drag-and-drop them!
Marking a Page as Done β
Instead of closing tabs, we like to mark them as done, like ticking tasks off a to-do list!
To mark a Page as done, click the tick on the right of the Page name, or just press D
.
Snoozing Pages π΄
Inspired by our friends over at Superhuman, we like to keep our Workspaces as clean as possible. Web Browser Zero, if you will!
To hide a tab until another time, press H
.
